JUSTIN WILMAN
Since returning to the UK in 2014 Justin has worked as an actor/musician on a growing
number of productions -Calamity Jane, The Kreutzer Sonata, The Depraved Appetite of Tarrare the Freak
The Witches (where he was also musical director), Craig Revel Horwood’s Sister Act
and the Leicester Curve production of George's Marvellous Medicine. Justin also appears with Worthing Symphony Orchestra and The London Musical Theatre Orchestra and helps out in various pit orchestras when
needed.
JEN DOUGLAS
Jen Douglas is an international Violinist and Electric Violinist. Jen has performed all over the UK and internationally in prestigious venues such as: Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Sofitel Berlin, Princess of Wales Theatre Toronto (Canada), Politeama Rossetti Trieste (Italy) and The Dorchester.
Work includes playing for classical ensembles, pop/folk bands, sessions for TV and Radio (BBC1, ITV’s Loose Women, Channel 4’s Made In Chelsea, BBC Radio 4 Live Session, BBC Radio Wales), studio sessions, solo performances and musical theatre shows: on stage and in the pit-she most recently toured the UK with Alexandra Burke.
JOE GIDDEY
Orchestral work includes Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, City of London Sinfonia, Opera Holland Park, and New English Concert Orchestra.
Joe has recorded for film work and theatre work, including 'Gospel of Us' with the National Theatre, 'Backbeat' West End show, string quartet music for Warner Bros and recently The Last Reef in 3D.
Joe is also involved with many chamber ensembles, including the Montpellier Cello Quartet. They have recently embarked on a partnership with jazz vocalist Claire Martin OBE in a sound fusion of jazz-chamber music written for the ensemble by internationally renowned composers, including Richard Rodney Bennett, Mark Anthony Turnage and Django Bates.
TINA JACObs-lim
Tina, our viola player. is LDN: Fortissimi's newest addition. She met the other players in LDN on other session gigs and found herself a perfect fit within the Fortissimi strings. She has performed for many years as a session viola player on films and albums such as 'The Childhood of a Leader', 'Fables of History' and 'The Voices of the Amazon'.
She also plays the violin and performs regularly in musicals and concerts around London and the West End.
MIDÉ NAIKE
You wouldn't think a Pharmaceuticals Student from the University of Birmingham would become one of the UK's top 10 beatboxers, but that's where Midé comes in.
Since uni he's worked continuously with the Sons of Pitches, who have regularly been seen on the BBC winning Gareth Malone's contest 'The Naked Choir' and performing regularly on Sky One as the house band on their a capella competition 'Sing'. During his time as a beatboxer, Mide has toured the UK in numerous live venues showcasing his incredible beatboxing talents!
