JAZ ELLINGTON
Jaz’s voice is a powerhouse of an instrument, and his music is as equally versatile by nature - echoing influences of gospel, jazz, soul and funk. You'll have recently seen him as a contestant on 'Eurovision - You Decide' on the BBC
One particular hallmark of his success would be reaching the semi-finals on the renowned talent show “The Voice UK 2012”, where he performed a ground-breaking rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’, stirring up a frenzy on social media. Since then, Jaz has gone on to perform various gigs around the country, and has even opened for the legendary Lauryn Hill. He has also landed himself the opportunity to work with Will I Am on a project for NASA.

GRACE WALKER
Grace trained at the London College of Contemporary Music studying Music Performance and Production. Specialising in Jazz and Neo-Soul music, Grace's smooth voice fits right in with the LDN sound.
Having spent years honing her voice in various bands, Grace also spends a lot of her time passing on her gift as a singing teacher.

ALEX CARDALL
Alex is 21 and a recent graduate of The Arts Educational Schools, London where he studied BA (Home) in Musical Theatre and is the acclaimed winner of Sondheim Performer of the Year. He has performed in Sweet Charity as Oscar at the Watermill Theatre and Male 1 in Putting It Together at the Hope Mill Theatre.
Whilst training he has had the opportunity to perform at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and the Ambassadors Theatre. Alex is also a enthusiastic drummer and has played with the likes of Clare Teal, Jacqui Dankworth and John Faddis.

JOE DOWNARD
Joe started playing electric bass at the age of 12, when he spent 5 years training with, and being mentored by, the great Herbie Flowers – bass player on landmark records with Davie Bowie and Mark Bolan – giving him great insight in to a wide variety of playing styles.
Joe has also appeared with the BBC Big Band, NYJO and is now pursuing a successful studio and session career as both an electric and upright bass player of Jazz, Blues, Country, Soul and Hip-Hop.

TOBIE CARPENTER
Since graduating Leeds College of Music and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Tobie has performed at Club Bonafide (New York), Eldeberries (Los Angeles) B Flat (Berlin) plus sold out shows at Elgar Rooms - Royal Albert Hall, Jazz Cafe & Ronnie Scott’s headline show.
His debut album ‘Dead Pan Party’ with Tobie Carpenter Organ Trio was released in 2017 and went to No. 1 in U.K. Jazz Album Chart.

CHRIS ELDRED
Chris is a fantastic, London based pianist and musician. He has performed in many world famous venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the 606, the Royal Albert Hall, the Bull’s Head, Pizza Express Jazz Club and Oliver’s Jazz and Piano Bar (Greenwich).
Chris has been involved with projects with Django Bates, Mark Lockheart, John Dankworth and others, and has performed alongside leading musicians such as Jean Toussaint (Art Blakey), Malcolm Earle-Smith, Bobby Wellins (Stan Tracey) and many others.

LUKE TOMLINSON
Luke Tomlinson is a 21-year-old drummer currently studying jazz at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England. He has played with many different artists on the modern Jazz scene such as jazz legends Joe Locke, Tim Garland, Seamus Blake and Dave Holland. Luke also can be seen playing at world-renowned jazz club Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express, 606 Club and The Vortex on a regular basis.
As well as having a foothold in the jazz world, Luke plays a variety of different styles of music such as rock, pop and funk. At 18, he toured with saxophonist Leo Green (Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton) on “Sounds of the 50’s”, a show for the BBC. Currently, Luke is playing with other notable pop artists such as Georgia Van Etten, Phoebe Rose and Matt Gallagher.

CHRIS MADDOCK
Chris is the musical director and one of the arrangers for Skyline Jazz. Whilst training on the jazz course at the Birmingham Conservatoire, in early 2012 Chris was a recipient of the Yamaha Scholarship for outstanding Jazz musicians, and was featured in the November 2012 Issue of Jazzwise magazine.
Chris appears on the album "Meantime" by Jazz drum legend Clark Tracey's new quintet (out May 2014) as well as featuring on the recently released albums "State of Play" by the Toby Boalch Sextet and "Uncouth" by the Jonathan Silk Big Band.

ALEX WOODS
A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and Birmingham Conservatoire, Alex has performed with Grammy award winning artists such as lalah Hathaway, Jamie Cullum and Charlotte church. With his own music, he has performed at the BBC proms and performed live on Jazz FM.
He was awarded the parliamentary jazz award at he houses of commons for outstanding jazz musicianship.

CHRIS SNEAD
After moving to London to do a Masters degree in Jazz Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.Chris now enjoys an assorted career as a performer, highlights having included recording the music of Pink Floyd at Abbey Road Studios, playing sell-out shows at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club with London City Big Band, and recording for indie rock band Cherry Ghost.
Chris has performed with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Piccadilly Dance Orchestra , Glenn Miller Orchestra, Nick Ross Orchestra and John Altman All Star Big Band, and was in the orchestra for the 2010 Papal Vigil in Hyde Park.

OWEN DAWSON
Trombonist Owen Dawson is a London based musician with a career including highlights such as performances with the John Wilson Orchestra, Hermeto Pascoal, the BBC Big Band and on the West End in productions of 42nd Street, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Sinatra: the Man and His Music.
Educated on the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Jazz programme, Owen is also involved in running and writing for a number of original projects including Big Bad Wolf and English Magick.
